xStocks
Peg lists twelve xStocks: ten companies, including NVIDIA, Apple, Tesla and SpaceX, plus funds tracking the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq-100. Each one is a Solana token that tracks its underlying share.
SOL
SOL is the currency for every trade on Peg. You pay SOL to buy a stock and receive SOL when you sell. Network fees are paid in SOL too.
What Peg does
Peg reads markets, prepares swaps and shows your holdings. It never holds your keys or your funds, and it only sends a transaction your wallet has signed.
Who issues them
xStocks are tracker certificates issued by Backed Assets (JE) Ltd. They follow a share price, but they are not shares and carry no shareholder rights.
